How To Get Unlimited FPS In Outlast

Using a GTX 1070, in Ultrawide 1440p. You may get more or less FPS depending on your setup.

Go to file explorer, open “Documents/ My Games/ Outlast/ OLGame/ Config”
Back up this “Config” file by copy and pasting into a new folder somewhere else
Open the config folder, then open OLEngine with notepad Documents / My Games / Outlast / OLGame / Config / OLEngine
Now we can alter this file to uncap the FPS
Press Ctrl+F to open “Find”
Change these settings

bSmoothFrameRate=TRUE
MinSmoothedFrameRate=22
MaxSmoothedFrameRate=62

MaxSmoothedFrameRate=62.000000
MinSmoothedFrameRate=22.000000
To these

bSmoothFrameRate=FALSE
MinSmoothedFrameRate=0
MaxSmoothedFrameRate=0

MaxSmoothedFrameRate=0
MinSmoothedFrameRate=0

Then save
